in normal circumstances We welcome both local and international volunteers at Baale Mane. during the current coronavirus pandemic we are suspending all volunteer programmes as i am sure will be understood.

if you have an interest in volunteering in the future, please feel free to register your interest. we have an ethos of sustainability in all of the volunteer placements that we run.

 

Local Volunteering

Opportunities to volunteer on an ongoing basis at Baale Mane are available:

  • Both local corporate and individual volunteering is welcomed.

  • This could either be at the Baale Mane home or at Malleshwaram where we work with older girls who have moved to the city.

  • We prefer volunteers with a specific idea of how to implement their skill sets to best help and teach the girls.

 

International Residential Volunteers

Longer international residential volunteering opportunities are also welcomed under the following conditions:

  • Only female candidates are considered.

  • That you commit to stay for at least a month.

  • We require you to provide us with a comprehensive background check.

  • You will need to cover your own travel expenses to Baale Mane.

  • You will be required to pay £125 or its equivalent per month, which covers the cost of your accommodation and food for the duration of your stay.
